Job Title Automation Engineer

Location: Onsite 3 days in Brookfield WI

Duration: contract until end of the year with potential for extension

Project: This team supports testing for Salucro's patient and provider portals for healthcare billing

The primary focus of this project will be transitioning their UI automation from Cypress to Playwright and implementing Playwright's AI agent

Most of the tests are local to Client's physical laptops/computers, they will be moving the tests onto the cloud to make them more environment-friendly and increase accessibility

Team Breakdown:

• 3 people on the team currently, just hired a full-time employee
• 2 offshore testers

Responsibilities:

• Leading the effort to migrate from Cypress to Playwright
• Manage the migration to cloud
• Collaborate with the other senior testers to strategize for the migrations
• Provide training/mentorship/guidance in Playwright to on and offshore testers

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience the recent full-time person they hired has 9 years, more is better
• Playwright & Cypress experience need this person to be an expert as the rest of the team does not know Playwright
• AI within Playwright is a nice to have
• Can be TypeScript or JavaScript based
• Must have 3+ years of professional experience with Playwright
• Cloud ideally this person would have experience moving testing frameworks from on-prem to cloud, but experience in a cloud-native environment would be sufficient
• Open to any cloud platform
• Prior experience as a lead this person will be the go-to resource on Playwright. Need someone who is willing/able to train and mentor others
