AutoCAD Drafter

Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter or CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in the telecom and utility engineering sector. In this role, you will work with AutoCAD and ArcGIS to create detailed underground and aerial fiber layouts for the telecom and utility industries. Your responsibilities will also include performing permitting and mapping for various companies and municipalities.

Responsibilities:

• Generate land base prints in AutoCAD for field use.
• Complete Utility Plan sets in AutoCAD for construction purposes.
• Create permit drawings for various permitting authorities.
• Compile job books upon project completion.
• Import and export various file types related to drafting, design, and GIS.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with ArcGIS is preferred.
• Prior experience in the telecom industry is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00-$22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
