In this role, candidates can expect to engage in various parts of the painting process. Depending on skill set and experience, responsibilities may include painting, sanding, buffing, or priming. A willingness to learn and grow in all aspects of the job is essential, which includes sanding, grinding, and applying body filler to vehicles before painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform different tasks involved in the painting process such as painting, sanding, buffing, and priming.
• Learn and apply skills across various aspects of the job, including sanding, grinding, and applying body filler.
• Ensure high-quality finishes on vehicle bodies by following proper procedures and safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in industrial painting techniques.
• Experience with paint preparation, sanding, and masking.
• Ability to perform grinding, taping, blasting, sandblasting, and powder coating.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle body work and paint preparation.
• Familiarity with industrial painting equipment and processes.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with hours from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, depending on the supervisor. Employees should expect 45-50 hours per week, including mandatory overtime on Fridays. The work environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wyoming, MN.
