Primary Purpose: Analyze and process a range of auto and transportation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process auto property damage and lower-level injury claims; evaluate damage, authorize payments, and ensure accurate documentation and coding per policy guidelines.
• Develop action plans to meet state-mandated deadlines and facilitate timely resolution of claims.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and manage salvage disposal.
• Communicate claim updates effectively with insured parties, clients, and agents or brokers as necessary.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Conduct in-depth coverage, liability, and damage analysis for all claim assignments.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other assigned duties.
• Support the organization's quality initiatives.
• Travel as required.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred. Must secure and maintain state-adjusting licenses as necessary.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years managing property claims in personal or commercial lines or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including basic construction knowledge. Experience with property estimating software is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Familiarity with personal and commercial policy terminology and endorsements.
• Ability to evaluate property damage assessments, total loss evaluations, and negotiate claims effectively.
• Knowledge of total loss processes, salvage documentation, and title regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to exceed service expectations.

Physical: Requires computer keyboarding and occasional travel.
