Each individual we serve has immense potential. As a Behavior Therapist, you’ll help children achieve life-changing milestones in a 1:1 ABA setting, working closely with children aged 18 months to 8 years using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. With excellent supervision, continuous training, and a passionate team, you’ll make a meaningful difference every day!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Implement the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism unlock their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, and implementing feedback from supervisors.
• Engage children in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through fun and therapeutic activities that foster their development.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to improve treatment effectiveness, ensure safety, and maintain a joyful working atmosphere.
• Interact with children through creative play, movement, and imitation; activities may include running, dancing, and reading – all promoting an energetic and engaging environment.
• Communicate positively and effectively with families, peers, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for children's needs.

Job Requirements:

• Physical stamina: Ability to lift children up to 30 lbs, move quickly on the floor, and maintain an engaged presence in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills: Keep therapy spaces tidy, organized, and stimulating for an enjoyable experience.
• Multitasking abilities: Balance multiple tasks while assessing safety and prioritizing effectively.
• Team spirit: Work cohesively across our center, neighborhood, and region, including occasional travel to support nearby centers.
• Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and possess a Bachelor's degree.
• Certification requirement: Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's: $21.00 - $27.25
• Master's: $22.00 - $28.00

For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, etc.)
• Mental health advocacy (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or educators
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
• Passion for working with children on the Autism Spectrum
• Eagerness to join a caring, team-oriented culture
