The Store Manager is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise, managing the store's financial integrity, and assisting with scheduling and ordering. They must also ensure the execution of the store's 7 Day Workflow Plan and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Working conditions include frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. The Store Manager must handle merchandise and equipment, lift up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 55 pounds. They may also drive to make bank deposits and attend meetings. The role is in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and extreme cold in freezers.

Qualifications include the ability to read and interpret operating statements, cash, facility, and safety control policies, and food handling regulations. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising practices, and cash handling procedures is essential. The Store Manager should have good organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to solve problems. A high school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred, along with three years of retail store experience, including one to two years as a Department Head/Assistant Manager or similar position in a retail grocery store.
