Working in merchandising means being a channel owner and shopper marketing expert. Associates are the subject matter experts of this channel knowing how the customer shops and the landscape better than anyone else. They will support the Manager of Strategy by providing sound data and recommendations to develop the vision and strategy, while contributing and executing multiple projects across test and national menu/merchandising for marketing campaigns across shopper marketing platforms. This position requires the candidate to contribute, communicate & deliver marketing strategies through cross functional communication and leadership and will be required to build a project process and workflow. This position may require some travel.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with manager to support and evolve in-store shopper marketing strategy, and test concepts that supports national and test marketing initiatives. This includes in-restaurant menu, merchandising, packaging, digital assets, and other imagery needs.
• Collaborate with Agency to ensure on-time delivery of all requests.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate communication to the field regarding test, digital, or other ad hoc imagery requests.
• Analyze business and program performance, industry data, consumer research, and competitive initiatives to inform strategic recommendations.

What We Expect From You

• Education Preferred: Bachelors Degree (Additional education information (major, etc.): Marketing/Visual Communications or equivalent experience).
• 5-7 years' experience in marketing or merchandising in a fast-paced restaurant, retail, or agency environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to contribute to new process development.
• Ability to use PC, Microsoft office (PPT, Excel) and internal systems to facilitate daily job responsibilities.
• Knowledge of principle marketing strategies and concepts that contributes to driving creative strategies, new product launches, and traffic.

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: $67,000 - $114,000 Annually
