Position Summary
Engages as a key thought partner and trusted advisor to the SVP, US COBENFY Brand Lead and their team. Serve as an active member of the USCOBENFY Commercial extended leadership team.
Provide oversight to the full BI&T integrated book-of-work (forecasting, market research, analytics) for COBENFY prioritizing and negotiating trade-offs according to business priorities. Inspires, coaches and develops team to deliver best-in-class BI&T integrated functional deliverables against priorities.
Establishes aspirational yet defendable revenue expectations for COBENFY. Ensures full transparency around business risks & opportunities and identifies actionable levers to activate upside Commercial potential.
Embeds BI&T capabilities into business decision-making influencing the pull through and action on the business for greater Commercial success. Ensures BI&T capabilities are delivered effectively and efficiently, with urgency, agility, innovation and a growth mindset, while upholding intellectual and company integrity.
Partners collaboratively with US Commercial BI&T counterpart, Central Capability Teams, and Commercial BI&T LT to deliver integrated value of insights with market research and engage with executive stakeholders on the full range of key business questions to inform: annual strategic plans, long-term financial plans, GT development milestones, annual brand plans and budgets, updated projections, and on-going local market commercial performance.
Stakeholder Partnership
Provide day-to-day strategic guidance and support to US COBENFY Commercial leadership team to maximize Commercial potential.
Develop BI&T plans and budgets aligned to business needs through collaboration with stakeholders and other BI&T team members. Proactively partner to identify knowledge gaps/needs, shape and properly define research/analytics questions to address business issues. Actively eliminate low value activities and continuously reevaluate the prioritization and focus of the team to drive the business forward on highest priorities, while creating synergies and eliminating duplication.
Generate & defend all revenue scenarios in support of financial budgets, projections, and R&Os. Generate and consistently communicate a detailed understanding of the drivers of Commercial performance.
Consistently deliver timely customer-centric insights, analytics and market perspectives that unlock growth potential and create competitive advantage. Influence the pull-through of insights to action on the business in service of developing and delivering more medicines, to more patients, faster.
Work with BI&T, Commercial and Finance LT members for relevant TA scope to shape the internal/external company narrative by providing key data points, timely customer insights and strategic market perspective for quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences and other key external events.
Commercial BI&T Team Leadership and Functional Expertise
Support the COBENFY team in the effective transformation of the new One BI&T delivery and operating model in collaboration with the Commercial and Sales leads and US neuroscience BI&T team. Ensure seamless coordination between business-facing teams, Central Capability Teams and the new Hyderabad team/office.
Lead the team in the application of innovative and industry-leading forecasting, secondary analytics, and market research methodologies. Coach the team when developing research/analytics solutions to address complex, strategic business issues and multi-faceted tactical plans. Ensure the quality of deliverables and integration of insights across functional methods to fully address key business questions.
Provide coaching and development to ensure direct team gains functional knowledge of forecasting, analytics, and market research methodologies aligned to job level. Ensure appropriate levels of technical capability, therapy area subject matter expertise, business acumen, and communication and influencing skills across the organization. Proactively share learnings and facilitate use of best practices.
Coach and develop team on career aspirations and effectively manage talent to maintain engagement, career growth, and commitment to BI&T and/or Commercial career paths at the company.

Experience
Strong market research experience, capable of operating with a significant degree of independence
Degree/Certification: BA/BS in relevant functional discipline required; MBA or MS/MA preferred
5+ years relevant work experience in Bio-pharmaceuticals across multiple therapeutic areas
Prior strategy/consulting experience

Demonstrated ability to influence Commercial decisions across a wide variety of business contexts: US, Global, and/or International markets; Brands at all lifecycle stages (early development, pre-launch, launch, growth, mature/LOE); Various competitive/market contexts
Mastery of advanced market research methods (e.g., behavioral science and advanced qualitative/quantitative techniques) and state-of-the-art Analytics/Forecasting tools and models applied to complex business areas. Versatility with corresponding software, models, and analytical tools to effectively and efficiently deliver book-of-work.
Strong team leadership & talent development experience, with proven experience leading through transformations and advancing cultural maturity
Highly collaborative and proven effectiveness in influencing in a global organization with a complex matrix of stakeholders and markets
Exceptional communication and influencing skills delivered with polished, strategic, executive-level presence

Compensation Overview
Princeton - NJ - US: $167,540 - $203,013
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
