Associate Director, Dermatology & Rheumatology Regional Marketing - Pacific Northwest

Overview

The Associate Director, Regional Marketing, Dermatology & Rheumatology – Pacific Northwest is a field-based role focusing on KOL engagement to gain regional insights, bridge between regional markets and headquarters, and support disease state education, promotional and patient programs. The territory includes Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Nevada, Wyoming & Alaska; candidate must live within the territory. The position reports to the Director, Regional Marketing and is part of the US Dermatology & Rheumatology Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities

• KOL engagement (disease state or product, when appropriate) in assigned targeted accounts
• Champion the brand, disease state and commercial strategy through meaningful engagement
• Support disease state or product conversations on key topics
• Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution
• Lead or support execution of Advisory Boards
• Assist in identification of HCP consultants as per the approved Consultant Engagement Project Brief
• Facilitate and participate in advisory boards where appropriate
• Develop physician speakers for high-quality speaker programs on disease state and product
• Provide refresher and follow-up training to speakers on approved materials
• Ensure compliant execution of speaker programs and monitor speaker performance
• Provide field-based training to speakers
• Engage with KOLs and solicit feedback as necessary
• Collaborate with other Field-based and Home Offices-Based Teams
• Provide input and support in developing account plans for Sales
• Provide field-based training support for Sales when needed
• Work with cross-functional teams on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution
• Maintain the highest degree of professionalism and comply with the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, field sales or medical affairs
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Dermatology/Rheumatology
• Marketing, Sales Management, and/or extensive launch experience strongly preferred
• Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards and speakers bureaus strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to inform strategies, develop tactics and execute against strategic plans under tight timelines
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and corporate goals
• Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex/competitive disease states; willingness to learn and adapt
• Effective verbal and written communication and organizational abilities
• Self-driven with strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions
• Highly collaborative with ability to manage multiple projects
• Willingness to travel for business (air or car) and to work evenings and select weekends

Compensation The starting compensation for this job is a range from $156,000 - $195,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
