As an Associate Chief Medical Leader, you will play a crucial role in directly supervising and mentoring Clinical Directors within your designated market. Your accountability will cover center performance, growth objectives, and fostering a thriving workplace culture. In addition to overseeing clinical outcomes, you will also allocate time for direct patient care duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage Clinical Directors across multiple centers, ensuring clinical excellence and operational success.
• Lead and coach teams to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee the development and training of Primary Care Providers and Medical Directors within your centers.
• Cultivate a positive physician culture aligned with our core values and service standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance the talent lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, specialists, community organizations, and hospitals.
• Address workplace concerns promptly to foster a healthy and motivated work environment.
• Review and approve referrals while backing up market authorizations as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with quality improvement initiatives, conducting performance metric analyses, and providing training to other entities as needed. You will also be expected to deliver excellent patient care as a Primary Care Provider.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• Exceptional clinical skills and experience within managed care delivery systems.
• Strong background in quality improvement processes and clinical outcomes.
• Ability to passionately mentor and develop fellow physicians.
• Excellent analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using electronic medical record systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% locally, regionally, and nationally.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
• Preferred experience as a Medical Director with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
• Current active medical license required.
• Demonstrated track record of clinical leadership and managing a diverse panel of patients.
