Columbia, MO or Springfield, MO Full-Time | Primarily In-Person with Hybrid Flexibility $100,000 $130,000 annually (DOE) + Benefits

gpac is partnering with a well-established and respected Missouri-based law firm seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator looking to take on substantial responsibility in a professional, growth-focused environment.

Position Highlights:

• Location Options: Offices in both Columbia and Springfield

• Focus Area: Civil litigation only family law, government law, or transactional law experience will not be considered

• Experience Level: 510+ years of direct civil litigation experience

• Work Environment: Primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from intake to resolution/trial

• Conduct depositions, draft motions and pleadings, and make court appearances

• Collaborate with partners and legal staff on case strategy and development

• Maintain excellent client communication and meet case deadlines

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in Missouri

• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience (preferably 710+)

• Strong writing, advocacy, and courtroom skills

• Ability to manage a high-level caseload with minimal supervision

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000 $130,000 (Depending on Experience)
