The Assistant Technician Manager will play a vital role in our organization, overseeing various responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations.

Some of the key duties include:

• Providing support for new technician training/onboarding and managing the completion of a 4-week checklist.
• Heading up our Student Extern Program: fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Posting new technician ads every Thursday for our growing doctor team.
• Creating a mapping route for holiday marketing to enhance our brand presence.
• Assisting with training team members on the ventilator, fluoroscopy, scope and other skills, contributing to our team's growth and expertise.
• Conducting new doctor training on SOAPS and referral letters to maintain consistent standards.
• Setting up new Docusign accounts to streamline administrative processes.
• Coordinating the weekly pet food order, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Actively participating on the floor, providing assistance as needed, and covering for anesthesia/treatments/where needed during busy times and to cover lunch hours (usually 2-4 hours per day).
• Conducting quarterly inventory checks to maintain precise stock records.
• Collaborating with the medical director to recruit doctors (email/lists/research) managing the pDVM phone/email list.
• Assisting in training for anesthesia. Prioritizing safety measures to create a secure working environment for everyone.
• Maintaining the Borrow/Purchase Log for accountability and resource management.
• Helping with managing and participating in marketing events, technician appreciation events/hospital events.

This position would include four 10 hour shifts and one weekend day. (unless you are a glittery unicorn and would prefer to work both Saturday and Sunday)

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour.
