Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support the successful execution of a hyperscale data center project. This role is ideal for individuals with strong field coordination skills and a passion for delivering high-performance infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-construction planning, including crisis management, site logistics, and safety protocols.
• Manage and oversee subcontractors and suppliers, lead daily huddles, and coordinate job site activities.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team to adjust and maintain the project schedule.
• Write RFIs, and track procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project-specific quality control standards.
• Maintain and update on-site documentation and logs.
• Monitor budget alignment and escalate issues to the Project Management team.
• Participate in safety meetings, daily huddles, and Pull-Plan Sessions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Support and promote standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 35 years of construction-related experience, preferably on large or complex projects.
• Proven ability to work with subcontractors and manage field operations.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with construction software tools.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and innovative thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center construction or other mission-critical environments.
• Two- or four-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fargo, ND.
