Assistant Store Manager - Spencer's

Overview

Assistant Store Manager for Spencer Gifts – Spirit Halloween located in Modesto, CA. The role supports the Store Manager in the operation of a store to ensure maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing merchandising and inventory control in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Guest Services standards.
• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and objectives.
• Develop staff to improve customer experience and sales performance.
• Monitor and control expenses and reduce shrinkage.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory control in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Prior retail and/or management experience required.
• The physical demands include standing for extended periods (8+ hours), walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
