Assistant Project Manager

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports. Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.

Assist the Project Manager in planning and overseeing construction projects.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Resolve issues or conflicts during the construction process.

Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.

Experience in construction, specifically heavy civil construction and underground utilities.

Proficiency with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Experience with Procore and construction management.

Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with clients.

2-8 years of field experience in heavy civil/underground utilities construction.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project and project management.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience with HCSS.

The role requires working in the office 70% of the time and in the field 30% of the time. The company offers mileage reimbursement and opportunities for career growth into a project management role. The candidate will also have the opportunity to learn estimating on the job.

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.26/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hackensack, NJ.
