Assembly Worker

The Assembly Worker is assembling ingredients into a finished product to fulfill customer orders. They are responsible to adhere to build sheets for finished product and are required to clean the line when appropriate. They need to be mindful of the count of product they are creating, and quality of ingredients when items are coming through the assembly line.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensuring raw product quality.
• Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment, including tools.
• Retrieving necessary ingredients for setup or changeover of finished product.
• Verifying that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company by observing the size, shape, and luster of each item.
• Sanitizing all materials and machinery parts in-between raw material allergen changes.
• Working as a team to ensure correct counts of products.

Education required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience required:

At least one year working in a Production environment.

Licenses/Certification preferred:

HACCP Certified.

Technical skills and abilities:

• Must be able to effectively perform in a multi-tasking environment with frequent interruptions.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a group setting.
• Able to work alone.
• Strong organization and active listening skills.

Physical demands:

• The ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to assemble ingredients on a conveyer line.
• The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with help.
• Ability to work in cold temperature rooms.
