Job Description

This position involves working in a facility dedicated to the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of watches for customers. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in using precision tools and equipment.

Shift and Pay Rate

• 1st Shift: 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri - $22/ hour

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble, and lubricate watch component parts as directed.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Sit at a watchmaking bench for extended periods.

• Wear a magnifying loop while conducting repair work.

• Evaluate the need for replacement parts.

• Troubleshoot and correct movements and defective or worn parts.

• Ensure that department productivity and quality rate goals are met and maintained.

• Maintain consistency in spare parts usage rate with department goals.

• Follow SOPs and safety protocols.

• Ensure proper condition of tools and equipment.

• Complete all necessary paperwork for jobs and trays, including movements and case numbers.

• Properly process jobs and trays through central coordination or personal workstations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to disassemble and reassemble small watch components.

• Proficiency in using precision tools and equipment.

• Mechanical assembly skills.

• Alpha-numeric recognition.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
