We are seeking a detail-oriented assembly operator to join our team, focusing on small parts assembly in a cleanroom environment. This role involves working with medical devices or comparable products, utilizing a microscope for precise assembly work. The ideal candidate is adaptable and flexible, comfortable with product development changes rather than repetitive manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small parts using a microscope.
• Work in a cleanroom environment following GMP standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance product development.
• Perform mechanical assembly and quality inspection.
• Adhere to SOPs and documentation required for FDA submissions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using a microscope for assembly tasks.
• Experience with cleanroom procedures and standards.
• Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of medical device assembly and quality inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging and kitting processes.
• Understanding of cleanroom regulations.
• Experience with SOPs and FDA documentation.
• Ability to work with small parts, tweezers, and hand tools.

Work Environment

You will work in a cleanroom environment with a standard 9-5pm shift schedule, with flexibility for an 8am start if needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
