Assembler (Level + Pressure)

Assemblers

We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in constructing level and pressure devices. This role involves working at a station designed for comfort and efficiency, using a variety of tools and instructions to assemble sub-assemblies and complete units.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine assembly operations on mechanical and electronic components.
• Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions.
• Use various hand and power tools to assemble devices into complete units or subassemblies.
• Program transmitters and use laser technology as required.
• Fabricate sub-components using various tools and machines.
• Conduct visual inspection and functional testing during assembly.
• Perform calibration for devices as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and notify team lead of adjustments or scrap.

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and understanding units of measurement.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Prior assembly experience is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

Available Shift & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• $18.25-$19.25 based on experience

Work Environment:

Work in a safety-first, climate-controlled, and clean manufacturing facility. Shifts include 1st (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and 2nd (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) with differential pay. Overtime is occasionally mandated and announced in advance. Steel-toed or composite shoes are required, with a voucher provided upon conversion to permanent employment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
