Apprentice Carpenter

Seeking entry-level carpenters helpers to assist with new build construction projects. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with window installation, exterior door hanging, and applying house wrap
• Supporting journeyman carpenters with daily tasks
• Working at heights (up to 36 ft ladders) with provided fall protection
• General site cleanup and minor carpentry tasks

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ months of construction or general labor experience
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
• Able to lift 75 lbs regularly and carry a 36 ft extension ladder
• Must have basic hand tools: hammer, square, tape measure, utility knife
• Must have a tool belt (no plastic bags)
• Must have own PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, Class 2 reflective safety vest, steel-toe boots
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• High school diploma required; trade school preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 Certification
• 1 year of trade school
• 3 years of construction experience
• Experience with hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and installation work

Interview Considerations:

• Initiative and reliability are keyattendance is closely monitored
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment
• Thick skin and willingness to learn are valued traits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Blaine, MN.
