  • Data profiling and reconciliation
  • Experience using ADF for data ingestion
• Visualization & UX:
  • Visual selection, bookmarks, drill-through, tooltips, field parameters
  • Accessibility fundamentals
• Performance Tuning:
  • Model size optimization
  • Relationship and filter direction management
  • VertiPaq fundamentals
  • DAX Studio and Performance Analyzer usage
• Security & Governance:
  • Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Sensitivity labels
  • Dataset permissions
  • Understanding of data privacy levels
• Power BI Service:
  • Workspace management
  • App publishing
  • Scheduled refreshes
  • Gateway configuration
  • Dataset endorsements/certification
• Testing & Documentation:
  • Naming conventions for measures
  • Calculation validation
  • Changelogs and user guides

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Familiarity with enabling AI features in BI reports
• Awareness of modern data platforms (e.g., Lakehouse/Warehouse concepts)
• Experience with SSAS Cubes (measures and dimensions)
• Advanced DAX patterns (semi-additive measures, disconnected tables, calculation groups via Tabular Editor)
• Data quality management (reconciliation dashboards, late-arriving data, slowly changing dimensions)
• Custom visuals and light scripting (Python/R)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and identity management
• Usage monitoring (audit logs, activity metrics, adoption/SLA reporting)
• Strong stakeholder engagement (requirements gathering, wireframing, data storytelling, iterative delivery)
