MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Programmer to join our team in California, MD. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements
• Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment
• Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability
• Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles
• Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution
• Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Applied experience programming in Linux and Windows environments
• Knowledgeable in C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiar with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Experience working with binary data

Clearance requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $102,200.00-$169,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
