The Goddard School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio has an opening for both a part-time and full-time preschool teacher. Prospective applicants should be nurturing, energetic, highly motivated, and a solid communicator. We provide care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children. Our school has a total full-time faculty size of around 24, three directors, and an On-site Owner. Our highly qualified educators are encouraged to use their creativity using the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way, both indoors and outdoors in our new state of the art Outdoor Learning Center.

Assistant Teacher Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years childcare or college coursework in Early Childhood Education
• High School Diploma

Job Responsibilities include:

• Implementing lesson plan activities that are appropriate to the childs age and developmental level.
• Meeting the individual needs of children.
• Parent communication.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the childs age and developmental level.
• Supporting a team environment.
• Using assessment tools.
• Committing to continuing education.
• Having fun while working.
