NP/PA Neurosurgery Opening in Dayton, OH Area Level I Trauma Center Position Details

• Full-time, Inpatient, Night Shift
• 3 x 13; 6:30pm-7:30am; Every 3rd weekend
• No Call
• Comprehensive, multidisciplinary, neuroscience program that provides total neurological care for patients and their families in Southwest Ohio.
• They include specialty and subspecialty departments, including neurology, interventional neurology, neurocritical care, and neurosurgery.
• Seeking ACNPs, CNSs, or PAs for neurosurgery team's consult service
• Although experience in neurocritical care, neurosurgery, or neurology is preferred, candidates with experience in critical care or emergency medicine will also be considered.
• Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply.
Coverage Responsibilities
• Traumatic, cranial hemorrhages.
• Spontaneous, intracranial hemorrhages.
• Ruptured aneurysms.
• Brain and spine tumors.
• Functional neurosurgery.
• Pain pumps.
• Baclofen pumps.
• Deep brain stimulation.
• Fresh, post-op patients.
• Drains.
• Assessing neurological changes.
• New consults.
• Opportunities for training to perform invasive procedures.
• External, ventricular drains.
• Intracranial bolt placements.
