Aircraft Engine Technician

As an Aircraft Engine Technician, you will perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, such as Major Periodic Inspection (MPI) and Hot Section Inspection (HSI), in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals. You will troubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at both on-site and off-site locations. Additionally, you will assist in complex engine and related aircraft repairs, as well as perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, following maintenance manuals.

• Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines and accessories.

Pay

• $32/hr-$55/hr

Shift

• 1st (day) 6:42 AM-3:12 PM
• 2nd (evening) 3:42 PM 11:12 PM
• 3rd (nights) 11:12 PM-6:42 AM
• 4th (weekends) Friday-Sunday; 5 AM-5 PM.

Work Environment

You will be working at a service center in Wichita, KS. The environment is non-climate controlled with customer interaction on the floor. The dress code is casual, including jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
