Job Description

Responsible for the evaluation, diagnosing, and repair of aircraft components, including basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems. The primary focus will be on the oxygen system shop, dealing with gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags. The role requires using diagnostic tools to determine issues and plan repairs accordingly, along with entering data into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose issues in aircraft components.

• Repair avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems.

• Focus on the oxygen system shop, working with gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and plan repairs.

• Enter data into computer systems accurately.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of mechanical experience.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Knowledge of aircraft repair, sheet metal, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Computer literacy for data entry and troubleshooting.

• Undergo a safety-sensitive drug test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in aviation is a plus.

• Specific experience with avionics is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with minimal overtime required. The environment is very clean and climate-controlled, providing each employee with their own workbench. Employees will receive work uniforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
