Description

You will be responsible for implementing features & building frameworks for online experimentation systems for Apple’s use internally, across all our operating systems. You will possess strong skills in object-oriented software design and programming. Performance analysis and tuning will also be a significant responsibility in your job. You are excited about developing new features, maintaining existing code, fixing bugs, and contributing to overall system design. You'll ship code that runs on the devices you use every day and powers a variety of Apple products.Additional Requirements* Experience building widely adopted APIs* Software engineering in large-scale systems a plus* An appreciation how a platform design impacts end-user experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Exceptional development experience for 3+ years at the systems level with Objective-C, Swift
• Strong understanding of iOS, macOS fundamentals and frameworks
• Experience with daemon and framework development
• Proven ability to deliver iOS/macOS production grade software
• Familiarity with essential tools (Xcode, Instruments)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of scalability, reliability, power and performance on iOS
• Experience in experimentation or A/B testing, machine learning a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building widely adopted APIs
• Software engineering in large-scale systems a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
