Position Description:
CGI has an immediate need for a AI/ML Enterprise Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. .• This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The AI/ML Enterprise Architect will lead the design and implementation of advanced AI/ML solutions across cloud and data enterprise portfolios. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, machine learning engineering, and enterprise-level solution design. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps, ensure scalable and secure deployments, and guide strategic AI adoption across the organization. The position is hybrid, based in either Reston or Plano, with a mix of onsite and remote work.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multi-cloud strategies
• Expertise in MLOps, DataOps, and lifecycle engineering for enterprise AI
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, or R for data science and machine learning tasks
• Familiarity with AI services for speech, vision, and text
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud migration strategies
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and principles
• Ability to create and communicate technical roadmaps and architecture documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Comfortable presenting complex ideas in a clear, engaging manner
• Experience in strategic planning and resource alignment
• Professional certifications in AI/ML and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Professional Certification) are a plus
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software systems, application development, and architecture
• At least 5-6 years in AI/ML solution architecture and engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Prior experience in technical team leadership is preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $121,200.00 - $172,600.00.
