AdventHealth Tampa & AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for a dynamic and energetic Critical Care Physician to join our team at AdventHealth Port Charlotte.

These positions are a result of programmatic and companywide growth throughout AdventHealth as we continue to support and establish high quality Critical Care services to our region in Port Charlotte, Florida. The ideal candidate would have experience or be comfortable working in Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Surgical and Medical ICU settings. The practice would be affiliated to AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, a 100 plus employed intensive care team members, which reaches over 15 other AdventHealth campuses throughout Central and North Florida, caring for over 18,000 critically patients a year.

Highlights of the position include:

• 254+ bed Tertiary Care hospital
• Dedicated Cardiovascular ICU with ECMO, Shock Team and eCPR service
• Neuro/Surgical ICU
• Medical ICU
• 15 shifts a month day and night or 13 shifts a month as nocturnist
• Advanced Practice Provider coverage

Requirements:

• Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine. Group is open but not limited to Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonology, or Internal Medicine.

Practice Description:

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance.
