Bilingual Farm Manager

A well-established and growing agricultural operation is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Farm Manager to oversee daily farming activities across both row crops and vegetable production. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on farming experience, and working knowledge of both conventional and organic practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of crop production including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvest for both row crops and vegetables.
• Lead and train a diverse workforce, providing clear direction and communication in Spanish and English.
• Plan and implement fertility, irrigation, and crop rotation programs for optimal yield and soil health.
• Ensure compliance with organic certification and conventional production standards.
• Coordinate with agronomists, suppliers, and operators to manage inputs and schedules.
• Manage equipment use, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Track budgets, input inventory, and production data to maintain efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of farm management experience in row crops and/or vegetable production.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Understanding of organic certification requirements and conventional agricultural methods.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across diverse workforces.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with irrigation systems and farm equipment.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in fast-paced conditions.
• CDL or pesticide applicator license preferred.
