We are looking for teachers for after school care. Must be willing to drive a 14 passenger bus with training. Must be over the age of 21. The shifts we are looking for are between 9:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Our early childhood teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Feel comfortable and safe working in a brand new, clean, state-of-the-art facility with added safety equipment and guidelines.
• Feel a sense of accomplishment as you hear the laughter and experience the enthusiasm of children participating in activities that you planned.
• Observe children's interest and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for a fun and engaging curriculum.
• Experience working with lesson plans/ planning and STEAM activities
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Engage with other early childhood professionals and continue to grow in your profession.

Teacher Qualifications:

• 1 years of early childhood education experience
• HS Diploma/GED
• Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Develops relationships with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
• Meets background check eligibility.
• Works productively without supervision within established policies and procedures.
• Highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams.

Must meet these qualifications:

• Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
• Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
• Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
• Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
• Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
• Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
