As an Advanced Radiologic Technologist, you will perform complex procedures and tests using advanced radiology equipment, including but not limited to diagnostic, fluoroscopy, C-Arm, and portable devices. You will play a key role in preparing and assisting radiologists in intricate radiographic procedures, including the safe preparation and administration of contrast media and medications, while following all state and federal regulations. You will also perform patient assessments and provide exceptional patient care, ensuring high-quality radiographic images.

Work Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

1. Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and demonstrate proficiency in advanced radiology exams/procedures.
2. Serve in a leadership capacity (preceptor, safety committee member, auditor, superuser) to enhance departmental performance.
3. Support and mentor Rad Tech I teammates and students in their professional development.
4. Verify accurate patient demographic information, critique, and manage radiographic images, ensuring proper transmission to PACS.
5. Efficiently manage and troubleshoot image management equipment, addressing any operational issues promptly.
6. Conduct timely exams, ensuring consistent delivery of quality radiographic images, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Utilize RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS effectively for documentation and information retrieval.
8. Ensure patient safety by verifying identity, obtaining relevant histories, and assessing physical conditions prior to procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Licensure/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences and maintain registry status and continuing education. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years as a Radiologic Technologist with adherence to the competency checklist.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of radiation protection, safety protocols, infection control, and standard precautions.
