Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist - Operating Room

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Imaging) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital

 Position Details:

• Day Shift: Monday -Friday (8:30am-5pm)
• NO Call or Weekends!!!! ***

• On-the-Job Training: Provided - experience preferred but not required
• Operating Room (OR)
• In-OR Experience: 90% of time spent in OR cases, including running C-arm, O-arm, taking interoperative and post-op recovery films, setting up C-arms, and sending images
• Advanced Modality Technologist position
• Responsibility: Provide imaging support to OR Pods. Vascular, Ortho, and Spine/Neuro
• Utilizing C-arms, O-arms, Radlink, Portable x-ray machines, etc.

• Extra Pay & Incentives:

• Additional shift differential for working in the evening hours
• 5% Advanced Modality Differential - earn more for your specialized skills!

Experience:

• OR experience (Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred)

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
