Accounts Receivable Specialist

This position supports the Accounts Receivable department in researching and processing various cash applications and other credit accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process cash application efficiently.
• Research pending cash receipts and related items that are unidentified and unapplied.
• Respond to accounts receivable-related requests and inquiries from various groups, such as billing and collections.
• Address and resolve tickets in ServiceNow.
• Assist with write-offs, reversals, and reallocations.
• Work closely with the Collections department to apply pending and unallocated payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in accounts receivable and cash application processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and 10-key operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Experience with specific accounting software.
• Legal accounts receivable experience is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with one of the largest international law firms based in the US. The hours are from 9 AM to 5:30 PM EST.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $39.00/hr.
