Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk (Hybrid)
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: $25 - $28/hour DOE
Contract Length: 8 Months
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on an 8-month contract . This hybrid position in Seattle, WA will be responsible for processing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with collections to ensure timely and accurate receivables management.
Responsibilities:

• Process and post customer payments accurately (checks, ACH, credit cards, etc.)
  
• Prepare and send customer invoices in a timely manner
  
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
  
• Assist with collections efforts while maintaining professional customer relationships
  
• Support month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting
  
• Maintain organized and accurate AR records
  
• Provide support to the accounting team on additional projects as needed
  

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting support
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Hybrid: Combination of onsite and remote work (details provided by employer)
  
• Contract Length: 8 months
  
• Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour, DOE
