Job Summary

Provide accounts payable accounting / office support to ensure effective processing and payment of bills and general administrative support of the office.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

• Process daily check requests and ACH payments to landlords or vendors
• Verify and post monthly bills into CRM system
• Ensure all vendor payments are made in a timely manner
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and process payment accordingly
• Research and resolve issues with vendors
• Respond to accounts payable related questions from vendors as well as internal inquiries
• File all bills and payment in designated vendor file folders
• Maintain vendor and customer information in internal systems as necessary
• Aids with accounting department calls as well as calls to the main phone line
• Assist with year-end 1099-MISC preparation as necessary
• Work on other special projects or accounts payable duties not listed above, which can vary on occasion as determined by management

Minimum Requirement

• Possess a strong work ethic
• Strong math and research skills
• Strong attention to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly
• Excellent communication, grammar, and phone skills
• Self-starter, highly organized and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High School diploma or GED - BA Degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of one (1) years of experience in accounts payable and general office experience.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location.
