Accounts Payable Coordinator

Join our team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator where you will play a crucial role in our finance department. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and proficiency in Excel. This role is ideal for individuals with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 6 months of experience in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in invoice processing and purchase order management.
• Support the finance department with clerical tasks.
• Utilize Excel for data management, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

Essential Skills

• Understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Bachelor's Degree or 6+ months of experience in an office environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable for at least 6 months.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint Software.

Work Environment

You will report to the Payables Director and work alongside a team of 7 accounts payable specialists. The company fosters a family-like environment and is a leader in the civil construction industry, serving the Tri-State area for four generations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
