Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist AR and AP to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist AR and AP, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Iron Mountain, MI

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Support the AR and AP Accounting Coordinators by processing customer invoices and supplier invoices in the ERP system (Syteline).
• Assist with month-end close activities, project costing, and billing milestones.
• Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify issues.
• Maintain electronic filing systems for invoices, statements, and related documentation.
• Support collection efforts by working with customers to resolve past due invoices and answer inquiries.

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years' office experience, preferably in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP software, such as Syteline, is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
