Job Summary:
Qualcomm is recruiting an Account Manager to join the Business Development team in Japan, focusing on the Industrial IoT business. This role offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join during a growth phase, managing multiple accounts with channel partners. Responsibilities include managing supply chain processes for major business growth, engaging in legal and business frameworks, and developing a broad understanding of Qualcomm’s portfolio of Industrial IoT technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of the IoT industry in Japan and its trends.
- Knowledge of IoT business requirements, development cycles, and decision-making criteria.
- Establishing relations with key players in IoT customers and partners.
- Sales/business development: identifying, developing, expanding, and sustaining Qualcomm IoT business through demand creation with distributors.
- Account management: following up on daily sales activities, managing design pipelines & KPIs, developing account strategies, and leading pricing, sales forecasting, and business contracts in collaboration with HQ and Japan teams.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Supporting RFQ and design-in processes for new projects, negotiating prices, and driving commercial agreements.
- International experience and understanding of cultural differences.

- Hands-on management experience, strong leadership, dynamic communication skills, and a collaborative attitude.
- Team player with high self-motivation.
- Innovative vision and flexible proposal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering is preferred.
