Medical Laboratory Entry-Level Position

Currently hiring for multiple long-term openings in a medical laboratory to help process samples and specimens. This is an entry-level role (no degree required) and will primarily focus on processing, scanning, packaging, and performing data entry for various human-based specimens/tests.

An ideal candidate will have consistent work experience and at least some experience in a fast-paced or medical/healthcare environment. These are all full-time positions plus overtime.

Pay: $17.25/hour (set starting rate, will be evaluated for raises over time)

Shift Available: All openings are 3rd shift. Specific hours are:

• 4am - 12:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday plus overtime
• 4am - 12:30pm, Monday - Friday plus overtime

Overtime Info: All shifts will require overtime. Typically this includes 1-2 hours of daily overtime, and rotating 1 weekend day every 2-3 weeks. MUST be able to work the daily overtime as necessary

• All hours over 40 will be paid at 1.5x

Job Duties:

• Scan samples into the system and verify labels are accurate.
• Perform data entry.
• Process and sort samples.
• Package specimens up in the laboratory
• Insert specimens into appropriate machinery/equipment.
• Put caps on specimens after running it through machinery.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have work experience, but can be from a variety of industries.
• Must have a completed High School Diploma or GED

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
