Job Title:  Program Director – Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA) 
Anesthesiologist Assistant Master's Program - Faculty leadership role
Salaried position with bonus, relocation, generous PTO, holidays, healthcare, tuition waiver, scholarly activities, transfer license costs covered!

Location:                  Hybrid Role:   
-Campus 3 days pw,
-Remote 1 day
-Clinical 1 day to keep licensure current - this is a paid salary day however CAAs keep all revenue from their clinical days-potentially increasing their income by more than 1/3rd!

The Master's in – Anesthesiologist Assistant - is a thriving program for our client university that operates nationally.

Responsibilities include some classroom teaching, some administration, developing faculty for this small fast-growing program and ensuring the continued growth and quality of this master's level program. Tremendous support is given to the accredited graduate program and the role, both by campus leadership and the senior Leadership Team.

The accreditor requires a master's degree in the discipline, Florida Licensure or the ability to have your licensure transferred, teaching experience of 2 years and at least 2 years in a leadership role either at the university level or in a clinical setting such as a hospital or management inside the healthcare industry in general. Previous Program Director leadership experience would be ideal but if you are looking to take the next step in your academic career, which would be a Program Director, then please apply. We also encourage any academic leaders that wish to step down from their current role into a Program Director level role to apply also.

This is a smaller program on this campus with 3 cohorts but overall, in the university on all campuses that offers it, the program is extremely successful. Student outcomes are outstanding! This is an excellent role to showcase your leadership talent and academic capabilities.

Compensation Range is:
$200,000-$230,000, and is negotiable depending on experience, education and leadership experience

Candidates Qualifications Needed:

• Must have 2 years full-time teaching experience in a Higher Education environment.
• Must have 2 years academic leadership experience in a university setting or held an administrative leadership role in a clinical setting or healthcare management.
• Must be Anesthesiologist Assistant certified by the NCCAA or its successor.
• Hold a graduate master's degree in education, administration, medicine, or the basic medical sciences.
• Must have recent Anesthesiologist Assistant practice experience.
• Genuine desire to see students succeed into practice well-equipped.
• Enjoy community involvement and scholarly activities.
• Ability to get state licensure in Florida- Our client will pay for any transfers necessary.
