Warehouse Material Handler

Join our team in the receiving department as a Warehouse Material Handler, where you will work collaboratively to ensure efficient inventory control and product management. This role requires dedication to maintaining a fast pace and handling materials safely.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members in the receiving department to efficiently process incoming goods.
• Individually track contributions and performance.
• Use RF scanners to manage inventory control.
• Handle returns and ensure accuracy in receiving operations.
• Operate electric pallet jacks when certified.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably 0-6 months.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes.
• Ability to walk and move at a fast pace for 8-12 hours per day.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Comfort with heights, necessary for using a 12ft staircase ladder.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

Work in a bustling warehouse environment with narrow aisles and pallets laid out on the floor. Certified operators use electric pallet jacks, and safety is a top priority. Sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes are acceptable attire. Please note that cellphones, smart watches, and other electronics are not permitted in the warehouse.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
