A busy trauma hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located near New York City, New York.

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified, Pediatric Fellowship Trained Anesthesiologist due to short staffing. The assignment consists of a 10-hour shift every Tuesday, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM, with possible extension if required. There is no call. The EMR used is EPIC. Case types include neuro, Level 1 trauma, pediatrics (including neonates), and a variety of other cases, though no open hearts or transplants. The role is primarily hands-on for the locum physician, with CRNAs being supervised. The facility has 15 ORs, staffed by 20 MDs and 5 CRNAs.
