Laboratory Assistant I (Entry-Level)

We're hiring an entry-level Laboratory Assistant to support a fast-paced clinical lab environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare or science, and offers hands-on experience in specimen processing and lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens
• Perform data entry and assist with pipetting platform tasks
• Maintain lab equipment and replenish supplies
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP)
• Document maintenance and quality control activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and basic computer skills
• Must pass a color blindness test

This role involves handling biological specimens and working overnight shifts (e.g., TuesdaySaturday, 10 PM6:30 AM) with shift differential pay. The lab is structured and focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

The pay range for this position is $21.85/hr.
