2nd Shift Assembler

Join our team as a 2nd shift Assembler, where you will work on the second shift from Monday to Friday between 2:15 PM and 10:45 PM, with potential overtime up to 11:45 PM. This role involves preparing sheet metal components for final assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
• Work in a fast-paced production and assembly environment.
• Lift and fit metal products together, requiring lifting of 60lbs+.
• Engage in lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for prolonged periods.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly.
• Ability to review assembly drawings and diagrams for accurate parts placement.
• Experience in operating an overhead crane for moving larger units.
• Familiarity with assembly, schematic, tape measure, mechanical, and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required upon permanent conversion.
• Capability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).
• Regular ability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
• Adept at using hands to operate hand tools and power tool equipment.

Work Environment

Experience a clean, organized, and spacious manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections for materials and production. Work during the second shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible Saturday hours from 12 PM to 6 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
