Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler

Job Description

As a 2nd Shift Assembler, you will be responsible for creating sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components, and assembling a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in a through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.

• Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.

• Conduct electrical function tests at the printed circuit board and final assembly level using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.

• Perform other duties as required, such as packing.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 26 pounds.

• Minimum of 4 months production work experience.

• Must be able to stand at work station for 8+ hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Assembler experience is a plus.

• Electro-mechanical aptitude is desirable.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals.

• Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities.

• Ability to follow through on tasks assigned to completion.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where deadlines are crucial. You will work in a basic production area with tight quarters. Safety is a priority, so eye protection and protective shoes are required, and loose clothing is prohibited.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
