A health system is seeking a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

Upstate New York is filled with beautiful sights to see, like Niagara Falls, Watkins Glenn State Park, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum!

This is an outpatient practice with a 50/50 Hematology and Oncology split, with Hematology primarily on Fridays. The provider will see around 10 follow-up patients per day, with no new consults. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM, with 5x8s preferred. Call details are TBD. The team includes 3 MDs, 1 APP (working to add a 4th MD), MAs, RNs, and Radiation Oncologists. Physicians are onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while APPs cover Tuesday and Thursday. EMR systems are IknowMed and Paragon. Credentialing typically takes 3045 days depending on provider responsiveness. NP or PA certification is required, full-time coverage is preferred, and candidates must hold a New York license.
