- Position type: Contract to hire.
- Location: East Syracuse, New York
- Job/ Shift Hours : 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Monday- Friday ; 8 hours)
- Determine individual technique for prescribed examination and position patient properly.
- Read and interpret physicians' orders.
- Properly shield patients for all examinations.
- Produce quality radiographs with correct Patient ID and markings.
- Review and evaluate images to ensure satisfactory quality.
- Maintain clean examination room and equipment.
- Communicate with patients requiring examination and procedures and provide reassurance as necessary.
- Perform identification procedure by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning a procedure.
- Register patients, enter orders, and track patients using the RIS.
- Always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Must be customer service oriented and maintain a professional appearance at all times.to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.
- Must have an associate's degree in medical Radiography and License and Registration (ARRT) required.
- May need additional certification, depending on specialty.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist.
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
- May need to have any other additional certification, depending on education.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay Range*: $ 29- $44 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
