TIG Welder

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team in producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry. You will be responsible for welding thin stainless steel using TIG or heliarc techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and heliarc welding on thin stainless steel materials.
• Produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise welding execution.
• Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments for welding processes.
• Set up and fixture welding equipment according to project requirements.
• Maintain high-quality welding standards as per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW across various positions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Strong math skills for precise measurement and calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 standards.
• Experience with intricate welding processes for developing complex fabrications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with food-grade stainless steel welding.
• Proficiency in using wire feed and other welding equipment.
• Capability to perform fixturing and set-up as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
