Wastewater Treatment Operator I

The Wastewater Treatment Operator I will perform a variety of essential duties to support the wastewater treatment operations in a designated facility. This role involves the inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of pump stations to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment operations in the facility.
• Perform maintenance and repair on pumps and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot problems or situations that arise in the treatment process.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Essential Skills

• Certification in Industrial Wastewater Treatment.
• 1 year of experience working with industrial chemicals or in a metal plating environment.
• 1 year of experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Knowledge of wastewater, water reclamation, and related treatment processes.
• Understanding of methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and operation of pumps.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Work Environment

This role operates within a manufacturing warehouse environment with moderate ambient conditions. The work setting includes exposure to dust, fumes, cold, heat, and humidity from plating and chemical solutions, with a moderate noise level.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr. Company will provide benefits upon offer - HR will provide benefit information to the candidates.
